Resolution criteria
We compare the delay on the resolution date with the median delay for the same flight and route over the 14 days ending on and including the forecast due date. A strictly greater delay resolves Yes; equal or lower resolves No. Only saved SerpApi measurements from Google flight-status search results (google API) determine the outcome, following the background's rules. Dates refer to scheduled local departures. The median uses all observed days in the window; one is sufficient, though a small sample may be unrepresentative. Missing days are omitted without replacement, and the two middle values are averaged for an even number of observations. An observation on the submission deadline itself is not required. The resolution-date delay must match that date exactly. If it is missing or the comparison window has no observations, the comparison remains unresolved and unscored until qualifying data arrive.
